On 18 June 2022, the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) China Membership Committee hosted its first event since establishment in May 2022 ( Figure 1 ). The virtual celebrated PELS Day and was made up of four parts: academic lectures, career development reports, industry presentations, a Student Branch Chapter (SBC) founding ceremony.
